Cougars under 16s battle it out with the Eagles

Brighton Cougars under 16s hosted Haywards Heath Eagles on Monday night at Stringer - see video highlights link below.
The Cougars stifled the visitors from the off with a full court press harassing and harrying to end the first quarter up 18-6 buoyed by a lively home support.
The second quarter was the biggest scoring with the home team passing and cutting strongly to rack up 32 points taking the lead at the half with 50-19.
In the third quarter the Brighton team stepped off the defensive pressure and this allowed the Eagles to play with more fluency to make it their highest scoring period with 14 points to the Cougar's 16.
Looking to rack up their first century, the Cougars imposed a full court press in the final quarter which delivered 23 points to the Haywards Heath team's 13. Final score 81-46.
