We have recently been contacted by basketball players in the USA regarding offering of playing contracts for Brighton Cougars, please be aware we are a community basketball club, and we are not looking to offer any contracts.
In addition we are not affiliated to or have any relationship with Rita Smith, we have no knowledge of her and she is not working on our behalf. We have not authorised anyone to contact any players overseas to play for Brighton Cougars and do not offer any financial inducements to play for our club.
If you are contacted by Rita Smith or anyone offering anything similar we suggest you contact the local authorities.
