below is an update and the second trial date details.
Training and game nights:
Starting in September, Monday will be a training night with home
games played on the main court on Fridays. Until games start,
Friday night will also be a training night. It has yes to be
decided once games start if Fridays with no games remain a
training night.
Membership Fees and Subs:
All players will need to pay club membership fees. These cover
all admin costs related to running the club/team, league entry,
insurance and your registration with England Basketball etc.
They will need to be paid before September. As a guide they are
about £35.
Subscriptions (Subs) – cover a teams regular season playing
costs; court hire, officials fees etc. For our teams we try and
keep the average hourly cost of playing basketball below £3 per
hour. As a new team the club will look to be as supportive as it
can so it has time to establish its self, while players also
have the chance to find ways to contribute to the wider aims of
the club.
Transport: The team will need to arrange and provide its own transport to
games.

Following the session there will be a discussion about training
over the summer and entry into a local tournament taking place in
August. We will then start to look at players for the team from
those who are still interested
