First quarter: Cougars strike, win the tip and score first! Tom scores 4 points in the first minute.
The Lions are new to the league this year and their lack of experience shows. They had some good moves but couldn't hit the target. Cougars look awake this week and as the quarter went on their confidence showed. The first quarter ended 30 points to 5.
Cougars were straight back into scoring points in Q2 but the lions pull a few points back.
Q2 ends 50 to 22
Q3 cougars consolidate their lead with some strong plays and solid defending and their confidence is growing.
Q3 ends 72 to 31
Q4 and cougars are first to score again. It was good to see all the team getting plenty of match time on court. Top scores were Tom and Henry. Well done to them.
