Cougars on European trip

Brighton Cougars under 12s face their toughest weekend of the season with a double-header on Saturday.
The team are poised for their much anticipated home game against the Crawley Cagers following the 85-17 mauling away from home in February (see photo). The team has been working hard in training and will have a full complement of players to put the visitors defence to the test.
Recent results have included a win away and a loss at home to Brighton Phoenix (see photo), a win at Worthing D&D as well as a win against STORM SRWA (see picture).
As of 31 March in the Sussex league, the Cougars were on 29, with Horsham Hawks on 25 and Crawley Cagers at 24 with three games in hand.
Not content with the return game against the Cagers on the Saturday 7th April, the team head off on a European adventure. Straight after the team leave the comforts of Stringer and step onto the team bus to head off to Wimereux, France, for a tournament.
The team will fly through the Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais and then head off to nearby Wimereux for the first game at 5pm local time.
Team manager Bruce Williams has organised the whole trip and coach Simon will be on hand to try to guide the players to produce their best for 'le Francais'.
Allez les Cougars!
