This could be a close game withCougars B having some new players but Cougar A's stick away 10 points before The B's score. The A's defence is proving strong at the start. Cougar B's regroup and have a great phase, they work hard to bring it back to 16 all. After a frenetic first half The A's pull away to a lead of 26-16.
Q2. Cougar A's get into their stride and put some more points away. The pace of the game has calmed down and The A's are making the most of their shots. B team can't seem to put the shots away. The A's defence is really strong and Cougar B's only manage to score 2 points this quarter. Cougar A 48 - Cougar B 18
Q3. Tom starts off with a 3 point shot to set the tone of this quarter. The third quarter follows the same pattern as Q2 with Cougar A's taking advantage of poor shooting from the B team. The quarter finishes 68-26
Q4. Most of the first 5 are resting and the team are playing well. The game picks up a pace but the A's still have the upper hand. The last quarter was as fast as the first. Lets hope the team aren't too tired for the subsequent match this afternoon.
The score line of 81-44 in favour of Cougar A doesn't reflect how hard the game was for both teams. But a well-deserved win for Cougar A's.
